ADVENTURE NUMBER TWO .. HAS IT ACTUALLY BEEN A MONTH????

Wednesday the 14th was our 1 month anniversary of going out with each other .. it sure doesn't seem like it's been a month!!!  Ken wanted to do all the things we did on our first date .. Starbucks, Movie at Great Escape, supper and then pick up some Krispy Kremes but alack and alas  .. Wednesday was a work day  for me so we decided we would go to Cracker Barrel for their delicious Cider Braized Roast Pork dinner when I got off work and save the rest of the celebration for the next day.  

This brings us to Thursday the 15th.  The Senior Center was having their Thanksgiving dinner Thursday and I decided it was time to invite Ken to have lunch at the Center and meet my friends .. the "fun bunch"!!  This would be an "adventure" for Ken instead of me .. LOL!!! 

We started the day out by going to the Y for Beginner Cardio and Oldies classes.  I was glad I had my camera with me for they had their Fall decorations out ..

One of the girls at the front desk saw me taking the pic of the decorations and she came out and told us to get up there and she'd take our pic with the decorations!! 

After class we had Coffee and visited for a while with Ron and Mary .. I wish I'd thought to get them out front with us and have someone take a pic!!!  And then off to the Center for an introduction to my friends .. PACE class with Lynne and a delicious lunch .. Turkey, Dressing, Sweet Potatoes, Peas and Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream .. Yummmmm!!!  He got to meet .. let me see .. Irene, Jean, Lynne, Carol, Simone, Billy, Joe, Elizabeth, Leslie, Barb, Mary Ann, Pat and probably a few others that I have forgotten to mention!!  

After lunch I had an appointment with an Orthopedic Specialist for my shoulder.   They took X rays of my shoulder and neck and gave me a Cortisone shot in my shoulder.  I have to go back to Pro Rehab for more treatments for the next 3 weeks and back to see the Dr. Ruble in 4 weeks .. if it's not better by then they will do an MRI.   We spent a couple of hours there.  

And then on to MY "Adventure" of the day .. the delayed "anniversary celebration".  We headed to the "Eleven Eleven Mississippi" Restaurant for our supper.  The other Elizabeth in Ken's life .. his daughter Elizabeth .. manages this resataurant!  It is a beautiful place .. you would never believe the building it is in used to be a shoe factory warehouse!!!  Type in Eleven Eleven Mississippi on google and check it out!!!

Elizabeth lit a fire in the fireplace so this would be a pretty area to take the picture and then we blocked the fireplace .. LOL!!!  All the things they had to choose from and Ken chose a Spinach Salad!!  I had Tenderloin wrapped with Bacon, Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Green Beans.  They have a delicious Bread .. don't know what it's called .. but you also have a small bread plate with Olive Oil and Parmesan Cheese on it and you dip the Bread in that and eat it .. Yummmm!!  They also had Wild Boar Loin on the menu .. I wasn't feeling adventuresome enough for that .. LOL!!  

Next stop .. the Great Escape Theater to watch the movie "Argo" .. (remember we're doing the same things we did on our first date .. same theater but we were of course going to see a different movie!).  Sad to say "Argo" wasn't playing .. they only have it showing  on the weekends and we didn't see another movie we wanted to watch!!  

Sooooooo ... off to Starbucks!!! 

I had a Gingerbread Cookie Latte .. it was good but not as good as the Pumpkin Spice Latte!!!  Next stop .. Krispy Kreme of course!!! 

The girl gave us each a "hot off the line" Glazed Cinnamon Roll" and we ordered a donut each .. well I ordered 2!!  We took these with us as we had just eaten at Elizabeth's Restaurant and had Lattes at Starbucks.  We had a Krispy Kreme and Hazelnut Decaf when we got back to my house.  It was a FUN day .. as usual!!!  Thank You Ken!!
