It's gonna' be another great day in Fort Myers, Florida .. we're heading for the beach .. Yayyyyyy!!! But first a few pictures from the lanai while I'm waiting for everybody to get ready ..
What a wonderful way to start the day .. sitting on the lanai .. having a cup of Coffee .. enjoying the sunshine .. the temperature .. and the view!!
Headed for Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park!!
We found it!!!
We're headed for the beach but first we stake out our territy .. a picnic table .. Palm Trees .. and a grill to cook our Burgers on!!!
The beach and the Gulf of Mexico are down that path!!
This sure looks different than the Myrtle Beach .. there's people on this beach .. LOL!!!
We've got our territory staked out here too .. we're all settled in ..
And Ken calls Mary to rub it in that he's sitting on the beach in the sunshine listening to the waves roll in!! Gotta' love it .. LOL!!
Yep .. those are my feet .. on Delnor Wiggins Beach in Florida .. while I'm looking at all the broken shells the waves have carried in and buried in the sand!!!
This little boy has been having fun in the sun!! You'll see more of this sand castle he worked so hard on later!!!
Oh yeah .. definitely busier than Myrtle Beach .. LOL!! Notice the Parasail in the distance!!
Time to get that grill going .. everybody's hungry!!
This guy must be hungry too!!! We watched him for a good while .. eventually he climbed onto a picnic over away from ours where a big plastic bag of food items was setting. Sad to say the guy the bag belonged to was just a little ways away from the table and saw him .. he walked over and picked up the bag .. and as the Raccoon started climbing back down off the table he said "Sorry Bud"!!! And NO .. I was NOT this close to the Raccoon .. my zoom lens came in very handy .. LOL!! We were tempted to toss the little guy a bit of our lunch fixin's but there were signs posted not to feed the wildlife and we obeyed them!!

Fried Potatoes with Onion, Corn on the Cob, Burgers & Buns .. Yummmm!! A delicious meal on the beach .. a new experience for me .. a very good and very delicious new experience!!!
Back to the beach to soak up a little more of that sunshine!!
It's gotten very windy .. Pat and Rich put up their big umbrella to block the wind a bit!!
Oh no .. the little boy who was so proud of his sand castle is gone now along with his family .. and the tide is up higher on the beach .. and the sand castle will soon be gone too!!!
Somebody went to a lot of work to create this sand sculpture of a very large fish!! It was built high up on the beach .. I don't think the tide will be reaching it!!!
Time to load up the car and head out .. we have other sights to see!!!
We got to the beach about 10:00 .. the temp was 81 degrees .. when we left the beach around 4:00 the temp had dropped to 75 degrees . Oh My .. Oh My .. LOL LOL LOL!!!
Before going back to the condo Rich drove us through the Barefoot Beach Preserve .. if you have a few million dollars to spend you can live here ..
