Perhaps I should explain this one .. LOL!! As we were standing about 15 feet from one of the Coconut Trees we heard this Coconut crashing through the branches and landing kerplunk on the ground!!! We were all quite happy that we weren't standing under that particular tree!!!
Of course I had to get a picture of just a couple of the workers who keep this place beautiful!!!

I should have gotten a bit closer .. these brass sculptures were made so realistically he has a frog sticking out of his back pocket!!!

This little guy should look familiar!! We came here the other day to tour the gardens but you have to make a reservation and we weren't able to take the tour until today!!
This picture shows how barren this land was when Mr. & Mrs. Mrs. Doty purchased it .. they are responsible for all this beauty!!!
This is a map of that same area!! 280 acres of BEAUTY!! Our tresour didn't cover the whole 280 acres .. we took the walking tour which the lady said covered 8 acres .. but it didn't seem like 8 acres!!!

We weren't able to go onto the lighthouse grounds or into the wildlife refuge because of the government closing of national parks!!
The beach you are seeing here is the one that we can walk to from our "beach house" if you want to walk across a river to get there.
This is the river that is between our "beach house" and the Ocean and beach!!
Looking at the "beach house" from the beach side of the river .. ours is the house in the middle of these two houses .. you see a tree right in the center in front of it!!

This couple stood there for hours catching little tiny fish .. they caught a lot of them too!!!
After just a short while a big wave rolled in and the water came clear up to the bottom of my chair and I ended up with a wet butt .. LOL!!
