WHAAAATTTTT???? MORE SNOW .. AND 1O DEGREES BELOW ZERO .. YIKES!!!!!!
I love snow .. I really do .. but I DON'T love the cold .. and Ken doesn't like the snow OR the cold .. so my new pink handled snow shovel is parked in the garage and we are going on a Winter Adventure!!
If Old Man Winter doesn't mess up our plans we will be leaving Hillsboro Monday the 10th .. headed eventually for the sunny state of Florida!! Ken wants to be in Knoxville, TN by evening of the first day. Then we will be headed for Myrtle Beach for a couple of days to visit with a couple of old friends of Ken's, then to Savannah, Georgia to see a few sights, then to St. Augustine, Florida to see a few more sights!! We will just playing it by ear as far as what we do where .. but we do want to make it to Port St. Lucie, Florida to visit with my son Tim and his family by the 17th so that we can be there for my granddaughter Sydni's birthday party on the 18th!! After leaving Port St. Lucie we will head for Fort Myers to stay with our friends Pat and Rich for a few days .. they're the ones who stood up with us at the wedding. After leaving Fort Myers we plan to stay overnight in Orlando, Florida and go to Universal Studios before heading on home. I'm thinking by the time we have driven / ridden all those miles and make it home we'll be ready for a vacation from our vacation .. so we may just hibernate the rest of the Winter .. LOL!!!
I will be taking my laptop and camera of course and when time allows I will post pictures of our adventure .. we'll be happy to share the sunshine with you .. I HOPE there's sunshine .. LOTS OF SUNSHINE!!
