Ken had brought one of the bags of Popcorn from the bag of goodies we won at the Luau going away party with us to feed to the Sea Gulls .. but one lonely Sea Gull is all we saw as we looked up and down the beach!!!! As you know from my pics .. usually there are BUNCHES!!!
Ken was waiting for more Sea Gulls to show up but Edna decided to see if this lonely guy would like a piece of Popcorn ..
He seemed to think she was just standing there throwing things at him ..
She tried several times .. tossing out a piece at a time but he would just fly up a bit and then come back down .. seemed to be afraid of her .. she finally gave up and walked away ..
And look what happened .. all of a sudden down swooped the whole family ...

UGH!!! My first sight of an honest to goodness Jelly Fish .. definitely not a pleasant sight laying there on the beach!!!!
What do you say we leave the beach and head for a nice hot cup of Coffee at Starbucks on the Boulevard???? Sounds great to me .. warm up our chilly bones .. LOL!!!
After Starbucks we all headed back to our "homes away from home" for a bit of rest and we'll get together again tonight .. going to the Alabama Theater to see "The Mid-Town Men" ... they are the group that actually played in the "Jersey Boys" movie!!!! Should be a great show!!!
Couldn't resist getting a "selfie" in the mirror by the elevator before going up to our place .. LOL!!
Just an hour or so later and the sun is out .. fog is gone .. but it still felt very chilly as stood out on the balcony to take these pictures!!!
Hi Liz and Ken ! Great pics and Good pic of the Both of you in the mirror ! I thought you were suppose to have really nice weather,but I must have been wrong. It is 38 right now here at 5:30 in the evening. Have a Wonderful time tonight ! What fun ! --If you ever step on a jelly fish,they are very dangerous and will sting you severely! I almost stepped on one in the Atlantic Ocean at Jacksonville, Florida once,but got my foot off immediately ! --It is fun to watch the pigeons and try to take pics of them ! Hope your weather gets warm again !
ReplyDeleteWe thought it was supposed to be warm too .. they were saying temps getting up to 80.. well .. that didn't happen .. LOL!!! It was tempting to touch the ugly Jelly-like thing just to see if it was as squishy as it looks but have always heard that they sting if you touch them so resisted the temptation. The others thought I was crazy for taking a picture of the ugly thing .. LOL LOL LOL!!!
