Good Afternoon .. We hadn't any more than finished our Breakfast this morning than we were off and running!! Off to the front office with George to get tickets for Ripley's Aquarium for today and then to the Pirates Vaoyage to get tickets for tomorrow night's show and dinner.
The skies don 't look good right now but it's actually much warmer than it has been for several day!!!
Tickets are purchased .. George headed for the Sea Mark Towers to pick up Vivian and their grandchildren, Alex and Beth .. and we headed back to our place to get rid of our heavy winter coats and grab a couple of zipup sweatshirts!!! And then to Ripley's Aquarium ..
And then we walk through a tunnel with fish swimming all around us and above us .. Sharks, Sawfish, Fish galore!!!

Highpoint of the day for Ken .. he found the penny smasher in the gift shop .. he likes to keep Madonna happy and keep those Chocolate Chip Cookies coming .. LOL!!!

But I think it will be washed away the next time we get to the beach!!!
It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach .. even for the Sea Gulls ..
We came upon this gentleman and his little boy throwing Corn out for the Sea Gulls .. and things quickly became very exciting!!!
There were a couple of Pigeons in the bunch ..
The Sea Gull closest to you wasn't very happy with the 2 Pigeons infiltrating the group and began trying to chase them off .. Ken soon stepped in and chased the bully Sea Gull off .. LOL!!!
Things on the beach settled down at last and we headed back "home" to get ready for 5:00 Cocktail / Dinner Hour at The Santa Maria. Dinner was a Pork Chop / Macaroni & Cheese / Green Beans / Dinner Roll / Salad / and 3 layer Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Icing for Dessert .. it was good but not half as good as the meal Edna and Vivian fixed for Valentines Day!!! After dinner it's Karaoke / Sing Along time ..
And then off to Geroge and Vivian's to visit with them and their grandchildren and of course play a couple of card games!!! Beth is 17 and Alex is 15 so they joined in the card games too and I think they had just as good a time as we did!!! Once again it was a great day with great friends!!

ReplyDeleteHi Liz and Ken !! I really enjoyed the videos of the Aquarium ! Awesome ! You know Ken is quite intelligent. He knows a lot about a lot of things !! Push down your King Crown, Ken ! (LOL) --What a Beautiful day at the Ocean and Beach ! Nice meal too I use to do Karaoke and enjoyed it. One time, I sang with a group running for Office at"The Elks" in Robinson. The other time was when I went with Gary to a place in North Carolina and I sang "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. I remember they had a lady that had a basket of roses and he got one for me. Red Roses have always been my favorite flower ! I
