MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8
We missed the sunrise but the sun is definitely out this morning!!! Temp 39 degrees at 9:01 AM .. supposed to get in the Fifties today .. not real warm but a whole lot warmer than yesterday!!!
We had a great time at the Super Bowl Party last night .. Jerry & Edna, George &Vivian and a couple that we met last year but hadn't seen yet this year .. another Ken & Anne. Since we are here vacationing in Carolina we all chose to root for the Carolina Panthers .. except Jerry .. he was rooting for the Broncoes .. just because the rest of us weren't I think .. LOL!!! Just to make the evening a little more fun we each put in a dollar and wrote down what we thought the total score of both teams put together would be when the game was over .. total score was 34 and Vivian had guessed exactly that .. Yayyyyyy Vivian!!! The rest os us had guessed more than that .. some way more than that .. I guess we thought the game was going to be more exciting than it was .. LOL!!!

Spending some time at the Caravelle Laundry Room this morning ..
Not so bad spending time doing laundry when the view looks like this ..
3:16 PM .. I'm baaaaccckkkkk!!! We went to Books A Million at the Mall and then to Yogurt Mountain .. which is a part of Books A Million!! The Yogurt comes out of the spigots on the wall like soft Ice Cream .. and then they have all kinds of toppings you can add to your bowl .. I had Strawberry Shortcake and Orange Sorbet Yogurt with Pineapple Chunks mixed in .. Yuummmmmmm!!!
After our delicious Yogurt Treats we went back through the aisles of Books A Million and did some more looking!!
It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours with friends!! Jerry and Ken had some place they were wanting to go but Edna needed to get back to fix what she is taking to the Pot Luck tonight and I decided to have them drop me off at the Caravelle .. having withdrawal pains for my laptop I guess .. LOL!! Actually I thought Ken and Jerry might enjoy a little time to themselves for a change .. just so they get back in time to go to the Pot Luck at 5:00!!!

Great pics !! You have the Beautiful weather today and we had it yesterday !! How awesome waking up to the Ocean view !! Have you both got to go in the inside swimming pool or hot tub yet? Just think How Wonderful it would be to have really warm weather and sit around the pool outside and enjoy the pool, walk along the Beach and get in the Ocean !! Such a Beautiful Place to Vacation !
ReplyDeleteYes it is beautiful here today .. zip up sweat shirt jackets instead of winter coats .. Yayyyyyy!!! We havent' gone to the pool or hot tub yet .. I don't think of it when we're just sitting around .. Duhhhhh!!! Maybe tomorrow!!
